Rubbing Your Ears Sends "Happy Feelings" into Your Body

Kids, adults, pets. We all got ears so let’s use them - for our emotions, of course . The ears contain physical & emotional acupressure points that correspond to major body parts and areas of the brain. Keep reading to learn how to use this technique .

Step 1: Sit somewhere quiet and comfortable. You may choose to use an therapeutic grade essential oil like Frankincense, Lavender, or Roman Chamomile for their added benefits of unblocking unwanted emotions. Never put essential oils inside your ear. Simply place a drop on your hand, dip your index finger into it, & swipe on ear lobes.

Step 2: Begin by choosing one point to focus on, or most individuals massage the entire lobe hitting all acupressure points for a grounding experience. Begin by placing thumb inside the top inside ridge and Index finger on the guilt/self pity point. Gently squeeze and make clockwise circles with index finger for about 10 - 30 seconds. Next, move to the next point by using index finger to press the point with your thumb directly behind on the back of the ear. Gently squeeze & use index finger to make clockwise circles. Repeat at each point.

Step 3: once you reach bottom of ear lobe, give a gentle downward pull along with the same circular massage for at least a minute Repeat step 2&3 to other ear.

After this technique your mind will feel calm, your emotions grounded, and body relaxed. Why do you think animals love ear scratches so much!?! Your ear lobes are energetically linked to your brain. When the right ear lobe is massaged it allows the left brain and pituitary gland to become stimulated. When the left ear lobe is massaged it allows the right brain and pineal gland to become stimulated, giving you a whole brain experience.
