Coffee Can Actually Make You MORE Tired
Happy National Coffee day! Don’t hate me, buuuut - coffee actually ends up making your body MORE tired. I didn’t know this until I was that “I feel MORE tired” person.
Here’s how that works. Caffeine /sugar stimulates your body to produce more cortisol which ends up burning out your adrenals setting you up for constant fight or flight mode, leaving your adrenals not able to respond as needed. This results in adrenal/body fatigue or not being affected by caffeine leading to more consumption. Coffee also tends to dehydrate the body - drink two cups of water for every cup of coffee to balance that out!
Proper fluids & adrenal support BOOSTS energy more so than coffee. So if you’re going for energy, ditch the coffee. And, I say that with love .

Homemade Peppermint Mocha
• 1 cup of almond milk
• 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
• 1-2 dates (adjust per sweetness wanted)
• 1-2 drops of peppermint vitality essential oil
• a tiny spoon of coconut oil
(ditch the peppermint and go for a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin spice!)
Blend. Enjoy!
